Seachy’s 12 Days of Christmas

I recently read 12 ways to make the most of 2015 and I liked the concept so much that with their permission I am going to be doing the same thing, it is the second year they have done it and it is as follows (with a few tweaks for my beliefs and the fact that I haven’t been blogging long enough to look back at 2014 but the concept and idea is the same and comes from Life in Slow Motion;

We kick off today with 12 ways to Make the Best of the Rest of the Year

  1. To keep finding inventive ways to make playing with my family less painful
  2. To keep up with my physio exercises
  3. To set aside time each week for the Yoga class I was attending that is breaking until the new year
  4. To (until Christmas week) continue with swapping my snack foods to fruit and continue this into the new year
  5. To be honest with my famiends when the Christmas Celebrations are too painful and I need a snooze / soak / or lay down
  6. To make my walking exercise outside each day it is not raining
  7. To set myself 1 daily target to achieve (planning & pacing)
  8. To start saying my goodbyes to friends at work
  9. To start reading books again (I find this painful and difficult to remember what I have already read so I will need to be creative with this)
  10. To find a way of telling my family my pain / mood balance each day so they can understand me a bit more and why I explode.
  11. To remember to tell my wife I love her each day
  12. To complete the work on my Life Compass/Goals from Dr B before our next psychology session

So there it is – my first ways to make the best of the next 3 weeks!
