Fellow blogger up for a national award

Having set my blog up as a way to deal with the frustrations, achievements and issues I face day to day as a disabled man with mobility issues I was delighted to see the following headline in my local newspaper Wreningham blogger up for award for work in deaf community it is a small village not far from my hometown and reading the article I instantly felt an affinity towards the blogger. Anything that raises awareness for people with any type of disability is a positive thing for me, the more we can educate others the easier it is for others to empathise with us.

Clicking on the link at the end of the article I was even happier to see that it was a fellow WordPress blogger day in the life of a deafie if you get the opportunity check in with her blog. Being the same age as my eldest the blog is far more current with social media of various types and probably far trendier (now I am showing my age) than mine so I have slight envy. Most of all I am proud to see the work a good blog can do – good luck next week E!
