Today we had a fantastic trip to watch the Gruffalo’s Child at the Marina Theatre, in Lowestoft today. We arrived early not knowing the lay out and were happy to see 8-10 disabled ♿ parking bays pretty much outside the door to the theatre. We had lunch in the cafe joining the theatre, great to see a smaller number of tables and chairs with more freedom to move and then settled in to a show.
The 3 Actors (2 female, 1 male) captured the attention of the adults and children immediately. We settled in for an hour of story telling, songs, laughter and jokes. It was great. I then watched my wife and LG make sandcastles on a fresh South Sands Beach before heading home to crash in front of the RoI beating Italy to make it a clean sweep for GB & Ireland into the last 16. I know what side of the Draw I’d rather be in, but if you want to be the best you have got to beat the rest!
