They certainly pay-off. Yesterday I was positive today was going to be a better day and it was, a triple whammy in fact. Firstly the Wymondham & Attleborough Mercury arrived and in the Community News section on page 34 was the following news article, some great coverage for both Wymondham Access Group and the Wymondham & Attleborough Talking Newspaper
Secondly I had a visit from a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time today, life has a habit of getting in the way, especially as we all get older, settle down and have families and so on but friends pick up where they left off the last time they saw one another. It was good to see McD today even if my LG did get confused and expected a Happy Meal to turn up, it took her exactly 2 seconds to get over her disappointment and shyness and then we struggled to get a word in edgeways. He will be having his first child in a few weeks and it was good experience to know what he is in for in a few years time. As always he sorted me with drinks and we had a good catch up. Looking forward to seeing him and the rest of the football lads at our auction night.
Finally the new accessible kitchen took a step closer to being finished today with the erection of the tall cupboards and the low level, hide and slide oven accessible for me either stood up, from my perching stool or my wheelchair. Congratulations NEFF on a great product! Now all I need is for the electrician to return home from his holiday to hook them up so we can start using them, oh and install 2 more cupboards, plinth, a hob and extractor hood. Still they look good don’t they #accessibility #simplethings
